Callie sat and listened to me spill my guts for hours over the course of a few phone calls. She has a unique ability to take in people’s ideas and emotions, transcending to a level I was not able to communicate. The end result is a piece of work that I can stare at daily. It was all I hoped for and more. Delivery was prompt and well packaged. I can not recommend highly enough.

Working with Callie Borgman on a commission sailboat piece was a prodigious experience. I provided Callie with photos of our actual sailboat and pictures of the mountain scape for the background that I wanted featured. My only instruction was for Callie to do her “thing”,  as I love her painting style and interpretation. Our painting came out as what we had always imagined. It is one of our most cherished belongings in our home.

Will you paint my piano?”, I asked Callie.
“Sure”, she replied.
Callie comes to my house to look at my piano. She looks at it and says, “Where are you going to put it?”
I say, “Well it will probably stay in this room.”
Callie says, “How big do you want it?”
I say, “What do you mean?”
Callie’s says, “The painting of your piano. How big do you want it?”
We laughed and a month later it was finished. My friends ask who painted it. They love the transformation. Everyone tries to find the many pictures Callie hid in it. My childhood piano. At times, my best friend. My heirloom to my children. My piano is now a priceless work of art. I love It.

Thank you Dear Callie, for painting my piano.
